La Merced BARBACUÁ gets its name from the artisanal drying ' Barbacuá ‘ process derived from the primitive techniques used by the Guarani Indians. It's a slow and delicate process in which the leaves are exposed to the heat given from the wood fire during a whole day, providing the yerba with its robust personality and finely smoked flavour.
